TGC Talks

The Guidance Center is proud of its staff and the great expertise they have in behavioral health. Did you know that you can contact us to request a speaker for your group? We will ask some questions about your needs, then match you up with someone who has the knowledge and experience you are looking for. Behavioral health topics include things like depression, suicide risk, substance use, self-care, treatment, child behavior, and much more!
Recently, our Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Kelly Donohue spoke to staff and faculty at Coconino Community College on how to identify and respond to a student in a potential crisis situation. She also met with a local Boy Scout troop to talk about the effects drugs and alcohol can have on one’s body and how they can impact a young person's life.
Our Director of Child and Family Services, Ms. Lyna Munoz-Morris, had the honor of presenting the plenary session at the annual Child Abuse Prevention Conference. She talked about the importance of self-care for the helping professional.
If your group or agency would like to request a speaker, contact The Guidance Center’s Marketing Department to get the process started!
