Coronavirus 2019 Response

The Guidance Center is keeping apprised of the COVID-19 situation in Coconino County. COVID-19, or the Coronavirus Disease 2019 is an outbreak of respiratory disease affecting people in countries around the world. “Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, some causing respiratory illness in people. Signs and symptoms, similar to the common cold or the flu, include a runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, and general feeling of being unwell.” -Arizona Department of Health Services
The Guidance Center is actively participating in community meetings to learn of local updates and we are following recommended protocol.
The Guidance Center is open.
Members who utilize outpatient services may be offered a telemed appointment if they are not able to come into the clinic for appointments.

REMINDERS OF HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND OTHERS:
- Get a seasonal flu shot
- Wash hands frequently
- Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth
- Avoid contact with people who are sick
- Cover your mouth with your upper sleeve or a tissue when coughing or sneezing
- Stay home when you are sick
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
If you are concerned you may have been infected by COVID-19, seek medical care for assessment and testing.
