Volunteers The Guidance Center welcomes volunteers from the community. Please fill out an application and

Pharmacy Business Manager:(1 Full Time Position):Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or
its equivalent. Two-year degree preferred. Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in bookkeeping or
accounting practices. Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required. Experience in Pharmacy
preferred but not required. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting
functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles
relating to Pharmacy operations, and as may be directed by the Regional Pharmacy Director. This position will
work closely with the TGC Accounting Department to assure billing and receivables are received and monitored.
This position is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying
out the assigned duties.

Accounts Payable Specialist:(1 full time):High School Diploma or GED Academic or business training in
bookkeeping and accounting principles Minimum of three years experience in accounts payable. Process all
claims for payment using integrated accounting system software, disburses payment, and files all documents
appropriately.  Tracks flex fund expenses to ensure individual amounts do not exceed established limits.  
Prepares monthly reports for CFO/COO of open purchase orders.

Human Resources Assistant (part time): Required: High School Diploma/GED. Two or more years of job
related experience. Computer proficient (MS Word, Excel, other HR/payroll software). Preferred: 2 years of
Human Resource administration. 2 years experience in new hire orientation. The Human Resources assistant
assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR
assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development,
HRIS, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, and employment

Centralized Medical Office Scheduler: Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency
Medical office experience or related education Two years experience in a high volume contact setting. Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health or Human Services Field. Knowledge of community resources in
Coconino County. The main function of this position is to coordinate the physician master appointment schedule
for all sites.


Account Representative (part time temporary): High School Diploma or GED. One-year office experience
with MS Windows.  Preferred: Direct Customer Service Experience, Medical Office Experience.  The primary
function of this position is to act as a financial advocate for our patients and a financial liaison between the
accounts and external and internal parties.
Psychiatric Hospital RN ( 1 PRN-per request needed position):Current and valid Arizona Board of Nursing
license without restrictions. Ability to be certified in CPR. 1 year in Psychiatric Health Setting. General: The
primary function of the RN is to provide care and safety to adults placed in PAC (Psychiatric Acute Care) Unit,
the ITU (Intake Triage Unit), and the Recovery unit. Care includes dispensing medications as ordered by TGC
physician, performing Accu-Checks, supporting a therapeutic community and educational program..  Performing
lab tests and supervising staff LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and BHS (Behavioral Health Specialist) in the
performance of their duties.

Psychiatrist  - (1 Full Time Position):
Provides general psychiatric services to children and adults, including psychiatric evaluations, both routine and
emergency, medications and medication management, forensic and Title 36 psychiatric evaluations and court
testimony. Provide on-call crisis coverage for after hours, provide psychiatric services in the Psychiatric Acute
Care; Evaluate medical issues. REQUIRED: MD/DO Trained in General Psychiatry, 4 yrs. (verified). Fulfillment of
required 20 hrs. CME per yr. (on file). Current Arizona MD License. Satisfactory completion of 4 yr General
Psychiatry residency program.

Crisis Worker(PRN- per request needed): Required: Masters Degree in Behavioral Health Related Field Able
to obtain an Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card Valid Arizona State driver’s license. Knowledge of DSM
diagnoses Able to obtain certification as an Allied Health Practitioner by Flagstaff Medical Center no later that 3
months from date of hire Able to work flexible hours and travel. Preferred: At least one year of full time
behavioral health work experience Experience in Behavioral Health Assessment Experience in providing Crisis
Services Knowledge of community resources. This position provides initial financial and clinical assessments,
triage to appropriate level of care, coordinate initial provision for ongoing services and provide crisis services on
site and within the community.  Clinicians in this position are the primary representatives of the agency and its
work in the community.

Behavioral Health Specialist -Intake Triage Unit:(1 part time , not benefit eligible):
High School Diploma or GED. Six Months Full- time Behavioral Health related work experience. Valid Arizona
Drivers License with good driving record. Able to obtain cardiopulmonary (CPR) Card within 30 days of hire
Able to obtain non-violent crisis intervention (CIT, parts 1&2) certification within 30 days of hire
21 Years of age or older. The primary function of this position is to provide care and safety to adults placed in.
Care includes providing a therapeutic and educational program via Educational Protocols, assisting with
recreational programs of clients, careful monitoring of clients, assisting clients with transport needs

Behavioral Health Specialist-PAC (1 part time, not benefit eligible):High School Diploma or GED.Six
Months Full time Behavioral Health related work experience Must be 21 years of age Valid Arizona Drivers
License and ability to obtain TGC Drivers Card; (39 Month MVD background check)The primary function of this
position is to provide care and safety to adults placed in PAC (Psychiatric Acute Care) Unit. Care includes
providing a therapeutic and educational program via Educational Protocols, assisting with recreational programs
of clients and careful monitoring and reporting to Charge nurse the client’s behavior.

Recovery Support Specialist: (2 part time positions):Not benefit eligible. High School Diploma or GED Valid
Arizona Drivers License with good driving record. Able to obtain cardiopulmonary (CPR) Card within 30 days of
hire. Able to obtain non-violent crisis intervention (CIT, parts 1&2) certification within 30 days of hire. 21 Years of
age or older Previous/current involvement in behavioral health as a recipient of or a family member of a recipient
of services. The purpose of this position is to assist adults with a serious mental illness or with a serious
substance abuse problem to access needed treatment and services. This position also is intended to provide or
assist in accessing services specified in the service plans of the consumer.  This position will require a flexible
working schedule. Able to complete Wellness recovery action plan training within 90 days of hire
Able to complete Peer Employment Training before employment or within 90 days of hire.
